I just wanted to say that we have been very impressed with camp this week! Our 8 year old son havs a very serious peanut allergy and we have to be very carefull on events and activites that he can participate in. We contacted the staff prior to camp starting to make sure our son would be safe and to let the staff know about our situation. We were very impressed with the response that we received about our concerns. The staff really went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable leaving our son at camp. And as parents, we couldn't more pleased to have such a positive experience for our son and the quality of a first class staff. Our 8 year old had a great time and is looking forward to attending another camp in the near future.

I also cannot say enough good things about the staff at the Academy, especially coming from such a negative and bordering abusive environment during the winter basketball season. Christian values are evident in the positive encouragement and caring nature of the coaches. This translates to an eagerness in the boys to perform versus a fearfullness to perform or else. Frequently my son would want to skip practice last winter, but this season, he's dressed and asking me if we can go early. We were about to give up on basketball because of the negativity, but decided to give it one more chance with the Academy. I'm glad we kept the door open! Keep up the great work!!"

We used the Dan Dickau Basketball Academy for our preseason basketball workouts. I was impressed by the organization, professionalism, and ability of Daven Harmeling. We definitely plan on using them again in the future.

I also wanted to let you know that Carter is having so much fun! As a parent you want your kids to accelerate in something they enjoy. I want you and the guys that are teaching (Daven and Riley) to know you are making a HUGE impact on Carter and that makes Lindsay and I very happy parents. Carter is learning so much and is having fun doing it, he's always smiling. Carter never complains about going no matter what time it is, he always wants to go and Thursday he didn't want to leave. Travis you are doing a great thing with this, please let the guys know they're doing great, and what there doing is great, and it means a lot to one little boy.

Daven and Riley have been great, and with our busy schedule, it is nice to know that if we can't schedule Daven, Riley is available and more than qualified.
