Practice Your Jab Series, by Daven Harmeling

One of the most effective skill sets to have on offense is a well-rounded jab series.  Often times, many moves are based on a "believable" initial jab.  Consider this: In order for the jab to be "believable", you must sell your opponent with your eyes, the ball, and the quickness of your jab.  If your eyes are looking toward the direction of the jab and the ball is mirroring your jab, your defender has every reason to believe that is the direction you intend to go.  The final component-and perhaps the most important- is how quickly you jab your defender.  Nobody tries to attack the rim slow!  Keep these three things in mind as you practice your jab series.
