Character is a Key to Success, by Kelly Hughes

Character is often overlooked when it comes to creating success.  I think this is a huge mistake.  Without character your success is just being built on sand and is liable to fall at any time.  Your character will help you maintain the success you gain in your life.

Examples:

Terrell Owens (very talented but has trouble finding playing opportunities)

Tiger Woods (affected not only his personal life and finances, but his mindset and success in the sport)

Character is an important part of teamwork.  This can also affect your relationships with teammates and coaches, which can negatively impact your playing time/success and the success of your team.
